Project Overview
What is Authentik?
Authentik is like a digital security guard in your pocket. Shoppers can walk into a store, scan a product QR code, and instantly know if it is the real deal. If the product is genuine, they earn points. We designed Authentik to be the bridge between honest brands and smart shoppers.
Goal
Our main goal was to protect people from accidentally buying counterfeit goods. We wanted to build an app that anyone could use, even in a crowded, busy market. We focused on making the process so easy that checking for quality becomes a daily habit for everyone.
Core Features
One-Tap Scanning:
We made the scanner the heart of the app so users can check products in seconds.
Instant Trust Badge:
Once a scan is successful, we show a clear "Great" message along with product details to give users peace of mind.
Simple Wallet and Activity:
Every scan and purchase is tracked in a clean list, showing exactly how many points were earned or spent.
Easy Rewards:
We placed buttons for mobile recharges and gift claims right on the home screen for quick access.
Editorial Typography
Authentik uses Inter as its primary typeface across all screens. Inter is a clean, highly legible sans-serif designed specifically for digital interfaces. The family includes Regular, Medium, Semi Bold, and Bold weights.

Design Challenges
The biggest challenge was making a safety app feel friendly and exciting, not boring or overly technical. To solve this, we used a bright green color palette to signal safety and success, combined with a clean layout that does not feel cluttered.
User Behavior:
We researched why people often skip checking for fake products. The answer was simple: it is usually too much work. So, we simplified it to a single scan.
Market Gaps:
We looked at other security apps and realized they lacked a reason for users to come back. We added the Daily Rewards feature to keep people engaged every day.
SEO and Growth:
We picked keywords like how to check original products and earn rewards for shopping so Authentik stands out in the app store.
Process Behind This Project

We started by looking at the quickest way a user can go from opening the app to knowing a product is safe.

We put the most used features Recharge, Shop, and Claim at the center of the dashboard for easy reach.

Real-Time Feedback
We designed the verification screen to be very clear, showing the manufacture date and validity so there is no confusion.

Polishing the Experience
After testing, we added a rewards banner at the top to make sure users never miss a chance to earn points.
